Noonie has been plagued with ear problems for a couple of years now. He's been on several medications and has even had a surgical ear flush. In the end we've been cleaning and treating his ears daily as "normal maintenance". Typically if I would run out or forget to for even one day his ears would be oozing. Well, we ran out on Friday and aside from what I would call normal wax build-up there's no sign of infection. I even smelled inside his ears and they just smelled like ears. I'm almost afraid to be too optimistic, but I so hope his problems are over.

What do you use to clean ears? The stuff from the pet store is soooo expensive. I've been told that organic apple cider vinegar diluted with water works, is there any validity to this claim?

Oticlens folowed up by Bayotic , which is a prescription. And yes, much money has been spent on treatment over the past couple of years. I'm not sure about the cider vinegar, but I've heard great things about "Blue Power" on this forum.
