I thought the same thing. My bassets are smarter than a lot of people that live in my town, I swear. Otherwise, that page was a good laugh

The funny part is-if you read the summary they do say they are intelligent. But the quick view chart says otherwise. I noticed that on a few other dog breeds there too, weird!
