Anyone ever thought of having a Cyberhound reunion or other aptly named get-together? I think it would be wonderful to finally be able to put faces with names we've come to think of as our friends and family.

I think this is a GREAT idea! We must come to you, though, Lynn. We all want a ride on your cute tugboat.

It's a great idea but I think we're too widely spread out over the country (and the world). I think the closest we'll come to the sort of gathering you're suggesting is the Christmas card exchange. I've met three Cyberhound members at the Colonial Basset Bash in Bristol RI and a friend of mine has met a couple at that Basset run in South Dartmouth MA (I think that's where it is). That, by the way, is an event I'll DEFINATELY be taking Moe to next fall...

Lynne and I talked about this when we met. It would be so much fun. Basset people are just the best. I also think Vegas would be a perfect place to hold a reunion!!

Plan it Betsy, and we will come!

Maybe if we give enough notice, those in the UK, and Norway, or wherever, will even be able to come.

Hey Sandy, how much fun could the basset kids and slaves have in the Tunnels of Moose Jaw? Then a relaxing evening at the Spa of course.

I thought of that, Susan. Moose Jaw is a great little place to have a reunion!

There is so much to do. Wonderful geo thermal spa/world class hotel, underground tunnels that Al Capone hid out in, murals, a Casino, and great little tea rooms, shops etc.
And the Americans get more bang for their buck up here!

I'd be more than willing to host a reunion, I love doing that sort of thing, but I think Moose Jaw is just too far north for most members.

But hey, if they wanna come, I'll plan it!!!
anyone else have suggestions?? Are we really going to do this!? We need input!!

So you guys are intending to bring these beasts with us to Vegas?! Oh my goodness ...not sure if I can manage that. But the thought of a Basset Waddle down the main strip would be a scream!

Don't really think bringing the bassets is realistic for those of us who have far to travel, but a tee shirt with a picture of your basset on it would be fun. (with your cyber name on it, too), so we know who you are.

I could probably manage that! Mine is a nervous little traveler. We had to evacuate for two hurricanes last year and the car trips were a nightmare ...for him and for us. He doesn't like car rides and probably wouldn't car for the airplane.
