I was looking at websites of basset puppies for sale, all were BYB's in my opinion. However seems like BYB's are stealing pictures of pups and pedigrees to represent as their own pups. Pass the word to never buy a puppy off the internet.

It has come to our attention, that some pictures have been stolen from this site, to promote fraud - offering our past puppies pictures as puppies for sale from other breeders. It is our sincere hope that we have corrected this problem. If you notice any of our pictures featured on other sites, please let us know. We have pictures of our puppies weekly from birth until they leave us, and sometimes are lucky enough to be kept current on their development. We apologize for this, but it is simply out of our control to monitor all of the crooked people preying on unknowing buyers.

As we've recently seen on this forum, not only should you not always believe what you read on a breeder's website, the pictures may even be stolen. Buyer Beware.
