Ernest is one busy basset.

Yesterday morning he was carried through the local farmer's market, took a few long naps and then met his grand mere for the first time.

Today Ernesto went for a long walk, went to another farmer's market, a wine tasting at our local arboretum and then to my cousin's high school graduation where he napped in the back of the courtyard during the ceremony and enjoyed hanging out with the grads and the family at the reception afterwards.

He must have met over 150 people of all shapes, sizes and ages this weekend and he performed like a champ. Always willing to have his ears petted and his feet handled. Mind, everyone asked to pet him and he was happy to oblige.

I think he's going to be bored come Monday.

He's doing a fabulous job of socializing us! Actually, we're pretty social, he's just a people magnet.

Maybe I should rent him out to singles?
