At the hunt yesterday, somebody left a doggie winter vest behind ----- I used Wench to model it and she was so embarassed that it took 3 of us to get it on her
Once I saw the pinkwhip, I knew it belonged to Pinkwhip and Belle the bunni-nator.

Bunnie-nator ??? more like Bunnie- whipped

Murray's mom--- the turnout was small, only 7 hounds running, but we had a good day.

Midge & Hazley --- enjoyed meeting you folks and hound, glad you had fun

Pinkwhip
Hunting bassets do not get shampooed everyday and get to run in the field often. the smell of bath oils and shampoo would scare the bunnies out of the county
What's wrong with looking for love from new people --- my bassets are perhaps abit too friendly, but you can''t say they are shy
Muttley won and got to finish off the left over hotdog. I thought eating chicken cordon bleu in the back seat was abit much. Hungry bassets run better anyway
Hunting bassets grow their own coats, so they don't have to take time to get undressed to go to the field
Slave bassets have insulated doghouses to sleep in ( old refrigerators)
Hunting bassets wear their battle scars with honor and pride

Which hound was it that decided to take off and run down to the swamp ?????? Some dogs have so few chances to get out and have fun, that they don't listen when you try to get them back to the clubhouse.

Wench is totally mortified about being put into that ridiculous looking vest --- she figures there is no reason for a vest since we aren't in Siberia -- and no hunting basset would ever think of allowing a bunny to take the reins and direct the show
She still won't speak to me.

We did have a good day and I'm glad Hazley learned something----- both she and Belle have a good bit of talent and should make great rabbit hounds

Just wait till Belle finds a nice fresh pile of fox poop and rolls her fancy city-dog vest in it!!!

Dean,

I know you have already ordered a Ruffwear jacket for Wench. AND she does look adorable in it! Just hope she didn't stink it up.

Pinkwhip

P.S. CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR! The hunt was a total blast - thanks Tim!!!![/b]
