....getting to walk around the yard for the first time since his ACL surgery.
This is what Bogie thinks of all this confinement in the crate.
Bogie is doing great. We also use the X-pen with his round bed inside to give him a change of scenery, and he gets to sun on his pipe bed outside, while I read. On Wednesday he'll celebrate the Fourth of July by taking his first walk around the yard, after a month of potty breaks only.
We had him at the vet on Friday for a recheck, removal of a protruding stitch from his incision, plus to get ointment for his yeasty arm pits. Always something with this guy.
He has healed up wonderfully and you can barely see the scar now. The vet was so pleased with his progress and the fact we have been able to keep him from gaining weight. Poor guy thinks he's being starved, since we cut his dry kibble back a half a cup.
Another month of partial confinment, with no running, stairs, jumping, etc. but gradually increasing the length of his walks. Thanks for all the drool and kind thoughts.
You guys rock!!
