and he slept through the night downstairs in the crate with out a whimper.
He's eating, pooping, and peeing, and taking his meds like a good Basset.

I'm following the doctor's orders and staying in my crate.
 But I'M NOT THRILLED ABOUT IT.

My incision is longer than my little short Basset legs.
:D The vet said I have big knees, and very strong muscles just like a Lab. :D

Boogie, be a good boy and get well soon.

BUT. . .how come dogs get to lay in their crates for 6 weeks after knee surgery while people are expected to not only get up and start walking around the next day, but they also have to start physical therapy right away. No fair! :p

Boogie, have your people put a hot pad on your knee for 15mins before you have to go outside. When you come in get an ice pack for another 15mins. Your knee will heal up in no time
