Well, some of you may remember the story of when we brought Bianca into our household. She was abused, had demodex, hadn't seen a vet in her entire life,...
We took her in in April last year, and she went along really well with Lola and Maurice. That was until about 2 months ago.

She has turned really agressive towards Lola. As soon as she sees her she'll charge and attack. We're already to the point that Lola defended herself and Bianca needed stitches. Yesterday, it was the other way round.

It's heartbreaking, as she's a really wonderfull dog with Maurice, or when she's alone, but once she sees Lola, it's war :(

Just had to vent :(

I am sorry to hear this. You did a great favor to this dog by giving her a home. I hope you are able to find a good solution, one you feel good about.

I too have had to let a dog go after a year of trying to make it work. I really grieved BUT I found him a good home. He is the only dog there and rules the house. I know he is happier where he is now. In fact I got Christmas pictures from my Floyd and it really made me feel like I made the right decision all the way around. Good luck. yvonne

Patrick, you tried and it didn't work. Most of us couldn't say the same. (I'm not referring to anyone in this Forum by the way...I mean most of us in the world) We know you're doing the right thing and will continue to do the right thing. I'm glad you made an effort. Good luck.

It's really heartbreaking, after all we did for that girl ...
At least we know that we've given her all the medical care she needed and that she's now a healthy Houndie...

Tears are rolling here since the incident yesterday.

So sorry Patrick, but I have to agree with everyone else. You have done over and above what many would do. From what I've gathered on here and other places, two fighting females is a total nightmare to live with. Hopefully like Sabian's mom, you will get her a good home where she is happy.

We had a rescue border collie that we just loved, and we had her for over two years...suddenly she started showing aggression to everyone that came near the house, even children...she would growl and bear her teeth and put her mouth around any limb she could wrap her jaw around...I was so afraid she would bite one of my kids friends...we had to have her re-adopted...it broke our hearts...that was 18 years ago...I still think of her. :(
