Hermione would have qualified on Sunday if she had more cooperation from the rest of her pack

should or can ? can is six months in akc any age in ahba In ahba they have to run for an hour in akc only a few minutes so that is a decision the owner needs to make.

Most basset are not mature enough the really run rabbit until they are a year or more but getting them out earlier speeds up the process

Hermione opened and ran a line but because she was running in pack they all need to be doing the same before testing for gun shyness "
"To qualify as a brace, both hounds must hark to the rabbit and pass the gun shyness test. To qualify as a pack,
all hounds must hark to a rabbit and pass the gun shyness test. However each hound is scored independently."
Hunt test can be entered as a single. a brace or a coupled brace ie 4 You either qualify or not you don't compete against the other hounds per say.

Hunt test is a BHCA sponsored event not AKC
