Here are two wonderful pictures of Maggie Mae I found on the forum. I hope Maggie Mae's Mom won't mind my posting them so everyone can see what a beautiful hound she was. We will miss you Maggie Mae.
I don't think they came through...otherwise there would be a whole lot of replies here. I wish someone would post her picture, I tried to go back too, to get one to repost.
Steinar is away for a few more days I think. He will probably post a picture of her, if he has one saved, when he gets back.
Those are beautiful pictures. She was so lucky to have people in her live that loved her, kept her warm with snuggles, and her tummy full. Rest in peace Maggie Mae, we will see you at the bridge. yvonne
Thank you so much for sharing pictures of my angel for everyone to see. I am so proud to be her Mommy. She was so elegant and beautiful, especially for a 15 year old. We are doing okay. I've joined a Pet Loss Support group which has helped us alot. Dave and I are grieving terribly for our girl. I talked to both her Vets in Philly & here in Florida and also her breeder who we still keep in touch with. She was from a litter of 7 and the last survivor. My girl, so strong and beautiful. Thank you to all of you for your love and support! It means the world to me and her Daddy!!
"Strong and beautiful" is how you'll always remember her. She's very special. I'm glad you've found a group that your comfortable with. I think they can help immensely. Best wishes.
Oh, she was such a sweet girl! Hang in there....She is at a better place now.
She has lots of bassets friends somewhere up there that will keep her company.
Looking at the pics you would never think that she was 15. The love just shines out of her mommy's eyes for her sweet girl. Maggie Mae was so lucky to be part of that family.
