I called the vet and scheduled a stool test. Thanks! You might want to post this as a new topic on the forum or in the health area. My only comment is that my 10 month old basset also had loose green stool and she had a bug (I forget the name) that could be quite harmful. Switching food can cause it to become worse - I would get a stool test done.[/b]
Its so hard to find food for Fred. He is a finiky eater. I talked to his breeder and she said that his father and mother both are finiky eaters. I give him 15 to 20 minutes to eat. He will sometimes eat up his entire bowl, and sometimes he may eat less than half. I still give him servings according to the chart on this dogfood.I feed nutro lamb and rice to my girls. They seem to do well on it. It's hard getting really good foods in central Iowa.[/b]
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hijack your thread. I was so worried that as soon as I logged on, I posted in the first thread that came up. I do apologize.awwwI've been hijacked. But in all concern for your baby, definitely take him to the vet!
