Hi, I am planning to own a dog. I know there is no combination of Basset Hound and Merle French Bulldog? But I am just planning to own Merle French Bulldog depending upon their look. I have seen it at my friend house, and decided to own the same breed. But when I have searched on internet, found many other attractive dog breeds, and the Basset hound is one of them. Please let me know, which will be perfect for the families?

Merle is not a recognized coat color pattern in French Bull dogs , anyone selling merle Frenchies is a liar and a piece of crap of a dog breeder.

Both breeds have similar behaviours, but I have never seen a lazier dog than a Basset Hound! My mother has one, and it was always a lazy dog. Even a small wall was similar to torture to him. When I started to live alone, I bought myself a French Bulldog, and it is way more active than a German Shepherd. The only thing I was struggling with was his nutrition. It is allergic to a lot of things. Luckily I found a nutrition plan on ourfrenchie.com, and I never had any problems feeding my dog by following it.

i have both yes designer frenchies is great health problems both a breeds are very loving and mine think they aew brothers
