basset agility comes to Central Illinois

A colleague covered an agility trial in the area and the story was in today's paper and guess whose picture was the biggest? The basset! His name's Ralphie and his mama is Marsha and you shoulda seen those ears a-flappin'! It was so cute. Marsha said (in the story) that bassets weren't terribly suited for agility, but Ralphie enjoys it and it's good exercise, so why not. :lol: Somebody on this board does agility, isn't that right? Maybe you'll run into Marsha and Ralphie at an event someday. I don't know them, but I'm feeling quite proud of them for catching my colleague's eye (and the photographer's).
