OK so this is one of esther's humans.
this is getting old.
i swear she barfs ALL THE TIME. we'll go probably 2-3 days w.out puking but then she'll puke like 3 or 4 times on a day sometimes. she's real small and shaped a little different because of her size. could this be why? something with her small size and the shape of her big chest maybe? will she grow out of this? I mean come ON...
this morning after going out she went to drink we went back to bed. she hopped up on the bed. her ears were wet. she has a bowl that doesnt allow ears in, she's not a toilet drinker and I thought wait how did her ears get... *sniff* Oh she PUKED AGAIN. I think we shoulda named her RALPH. should we be worried? ugh.

dogs gag responce is much different than human basical it does not take much to set them off. More so in a puppy than an adult much like hiccup however some dogs are more prone to vomitting than other. So as she matures it is likely to get better but maybe not as much better as you woulkd like.

I don't believe ester fits the profile but for a lot of dogs especially puppies that the time between meals tends to be too long they willtend to vomit up only a foamy bile (YELLOW GREEN) liquid. They tend to vomit early in the morning or near the time for the next meal. Feeding more frequently or a late night bedtime and;or between meals snack will cure this. I have had a couple of begeals that a couple of cookies before bed was the cure.

Estha-- ya take the cake for having the most skillz on this forum. puking in your poppa's pantz while he's still wearin' 'em! my person told me to remind her not to read threads that have 'barf' in the title while eating lunch. she was doing ok w/all the descriptions and all, until she came across your poppa's pantz.

man, you should enter a contest or something.

Esther: Just a thought -- now I know you probably don't like cats and don't even want me to mention them and heaven forbid mention one in connection to your beautiful basset self. Well I have a cat --- Cairo aka Prince Barfy Guts. In our house we call cat barfs HOIKS. Old Barfy Guts was hoiking here and hoiking there on a daily basis. Moms friend said Siamese are just hoiky cats. Yuck. Mom got the idea maybe he was allergic to his food (RoyalCanine) and changed him to a no grain formula 2 months ago and GUESS what no more HOIKS. Yahoo
Actually I have been on a no grain diet all of my life. Mom and Dad had a springer before me who had cronic ear infections his whole life. Of course he swam like a fish but since the water is frozen here for 6 months of the year she thinks all along it may have been the grain in his food. Anyway I have not had any of those nasty ear infections but I'm no swimmer. I was brave though last week and stuck my paws in but oooooo nooooo can't get my beautiful belly wet -- nope not me I am a beach bunny.
Don't know if this helps you at all but tell your Mommy it is worth a try.
Loved your Dads barfy pants picture.
