Ditto how cute they are. Pretty funny how Bassets like to seek high ground. Moe likes to stand on a large rock in the front yard. It's big (about four feet across) but only sticks out of the ground about a foot. He looks very regal, as if he's king of all he surveys, IF you can overlook that fact that he's not even high up enough to see over the huckleberries. :lol:

Storm shelter? Do you get tornados?

I haven't been up here long enough to see one. But I know there was one a few blocks over from us a few months ago... Now I've just got to train the pups not to be scared of going IN the shelter. They freak out when I try to get them inside of it...[/b]

Try tossing in a couple of hotdogs and they'll go right in. Just make sure to step out of the way or you'll be knocked on your tush!
