Well I've finally gotten internet again, we arrived in Ontario and found a "little" place just outside of Oshawa, in Courtice Ontario. (Apparently everyone here pronounces it like "Curtis", which I was quickly corrected on when I was telling people I lived in "Court-ice") *lol*

Beldin is loving it so far.

I will post a little bit later some more detail regarding the trip and our settling in, but for now this is just a quick post to let you all know we have arrived!

Now that I'm online there's a ton of other catching up to do though too so I'll try to make sure I check back soon and keep you posted on Beldin's adjustments! :)

If there's anyone around this area or knows of a good vet, please let me know too! I still need to get Beldin a license for here and I'd like him to have another check up now that we're here.

Cheers!

Welcome to Ontario. We live quite a bit west of you in Hamilton, but that's funny about Courtice!!! Got a good giggle from it..[/b]
*waves at you from Courtice* Heya! :) hehe actually I don't really consider Hamilton very far at the moment... I guess everything is relative ... I just spent a week on the road travelling about 5000km so a 2 to 3 hour drive doesn't seem that long to me. :p

Also I have a friend in Collingwood to the west of Barrie ...

And it's only a few hours from here to Niagra ... and Hamilton is sort of between here and there I think.

Anyhow, you're closer now than you were before when I was in BC! *lol* Maybe someday I can drive down for a boo!

Beldin says thanks (in his houndie way) for the smoochies and belly rubs! Course he'd soak that up all day if I had a mind to just sit there smoochie-ing and rubbing!

He's really feeling welcomed to the neighbourhood ... we have glass front doors (and no blinds yet) so people walking by can see this silly thing bounding about with flappy ears and a big goofy "whoof!" and they've been stopping in to introduce themselves and ask "what the heck kinda dog is THAT anyway?" *lol*

So far only the landlord recognized him for what he is because he has a beagle!
