I just noticed that Lightning has dark crusty stuff in his armpits. He's never had inflamed armpits like a lot of dogs on this forum. He also developed lip fold pyoderma in the last 6 months or so. He's never had that before either. He's about 12. Before Stomps died, at 13-15 years old, he developed a horrible hot spot where his jowls met his neck. So as dogs age do they become more prone to such things? Could this be secondary to a more serious problem? Other than a little arthritis, he seems fine. Good weight, good appetite (a little too good), nice coat, good attitude. But I worry...
