Has anyone ever used this collar for their dog? You attach it to your dog's regular collar. Looks like it would be a great
alternative to the traditional elizabethan collar. Yogi may need surgery in a few weeks on his foot. He has a cyst
in between his toes that doesn't seem to be going away. We go back to the vet on the 19th to have it checked out again.
I am really hoping with all the things the vet has me doing will help but we went through this before with another one
he had and he ended up having surgery. For now I have a sock on his foot so he can't keep licking it. He is a very good boy about keeping the sock on for me.

That should work fine. Here's a photo of a homemade collar copying that idea. We made it for Rusty when he had his surgery. His incision was on his stomach.

Here's a photo of Bogie Carter wearing his collar for an incision in the same area.

I know and E collar MUST be worn if the incision is on the head or face anywhere. Here's my boy recently with his E collar which he hated!! His incision was near his eye. With the towel collar, he could have reached it with his paw

Thank you, Maggie's mommy! That looks like it would be a good idea. A good bit cheaper too!
I really hope we can avoid another surgery for my boy but so far I am not having much luck with the cyst. It is on his back foot, on the top in between the toes. The last one he had was on the bottom of his foot. Boy, did we ever have a problem with that one! But, Yogi was such a good boy about it. I had to change the dressings and keep a sock over it and eventually it did heal. Such a bad place for one of those cysts to grow.
Your Rusty is such a beautiful boy! I saw in one of your other posts that he is doing much better. He did look so sad in that video you did when he had the e collar on!
Bogie Carter is also very beautiful!
