Had a little more time to go through some of the many photos of the new puppy today and thought I'd post a few here.

Little Dinah got to go for her first real walk around the neighborhood the other day and she came home and fell promptly asleep in my coat:

She's a real cutie and quite the little ham as well. They say bassets are very photogenic and I'd have to agree:

Dinah and her fur-sister, Ditto have quickly become friends. They look rather vicious in these photos but they were having such a blast! As I type this one is fast asleep behind me in my chair and the other at my feet so I guess they tired each other out! I think they sooo cute together because their coats are opposites right now. Dinah's will probably darken some as she grows but for now they match perfectly:

WOW! It looks like Dinah and Ditto are really hitting it off! Dinah is such a cutie! Whenever I see everyone's pictures of their basset puppies it really makes me wish I had one. All of my bassets I adopted or took in when they were adults. However none of my bassets are fixed so you never know.

She is such a cutie pie. I love the pictures of other basset puppies. It is great for her to have a furry sister too. I have 2 bassets and a mutt and they are all so great together.
