I think he tucked his legs under him,it does look funny. They have correct ear sets which is why the ears look exceptionally long. Esa isn't going to care when they leave,she hardly has anything to do with them now.She considers them a pain in her butt they get the good puppy food.

Oh yeah ,no doubt I will.I'll miss the little monsters.I spend as much time as I can with them now because it won't be too long before they are gone. It turns out the co-owner of Esa cannot take puppy right now so I still have a male and female to home yet.We'll see how it goes.

Basset ears are short when they are born,but as they grow up to about 12 weeks old the ears elongate.The ears are suppose to look like they are set on the neck slightly below the eye.Ears above that point are a high set ear and not the ideal.

I know they are almost a year old ,right.I can't believe I'm planning a breeding for July,but Esa has recovered fine from her c-section ,Jen is waiting for another puppy,so no reason to wait longer I may want a male from this litter,we'll see.
