Field Trials

A field trial is a competition that shows the basset doing what bassets were bred to do: hunting small game, especially rabbits. Field trialers enjoy their sport for the outdoor exercise, the pleasure of socializing with friends, and the thrill of seeing their dogs follow a trail. If you love bassets and have never been to a field trial, you're missing something wonderful. Tally-Ho!
