Boswell's Life of Boswell is a charming picture book written and illustrated by Evelyn Leavens. It was originally published in 1958 and has been out of print for decades. I had originally hoped that the copyright was not renewed, but research proved that it's now copyright 1958, 1986 to Western Publishing Company, Inc. I'm taking a chance and putting it on the web because, since it's out of print, I'm not causing anyone financial harm. (If anyone from Western Publishing Company writes to tell me to cease and desist, I'll have to comply.) I'm putting it up because I think it's a wonderful example of someone who truly understands basset hounds. I've done my best to compress the images for easy loading, and I hope you enjoy the result as much as I do.
