Well, i reported it to the Adminstrator & it looks like we got a response, saying he/she is working on it.

Is it still a problem now?

I always click on "Active Topics" to view the newest posts on this forum, and so far (knock on wood), I don't seem to be having this problem....

maybe try that...??

When you go to a forum, the topics are all out of order. They are usually in order according to newer dates, and now they are in no particular order at all.

This is what I see. Doesn't matter what browser I use, I refresh, clear cache, etc. I click on Last Post and they go in order, but it doesn't stay that way if I check other threads.

oh there is an order they are inalphebetical order those strating with symbols and numbers first followe by the alpha character in reverse order starting with a.

WWorm you mentioned early you use the "active topics" for what ever reason that is currently the only forum type page that defaults to the last post first sorting. so thast is why it appears ok have you tried direct access to other forums.

It is possible it is a specific issue with particular browser I have the problem with IE vers 7 and 8 it is possible it in not an isssue with other borwsers

as additional information. at the bootm of the page in any forum when the list of threads is up is a box called display options. It list sorted by "title Thread" order "acending" and Start "begining". which is exactly how the forums thread are started. It appears you have the option fo changing the display with drop down menues but when you change to like sort by "last time posted" order "Decending " and leave start "beginning" and push the show thread buttons. The thread come back up sorted by title, accening order from the beginning and this is what it says in display options. the order is on corrected by clicking on last post. When you do that the display options also change sort by "last post time" order decending and start "begining" if however you press the show threads button then it reverts back to the sorting by title in acending order. It appear that some sort of default is in place in the tread sorting on the forums. When this first occured ony the general forum sorted not following the last post order but when that occured it was in decending order startin with the "Z" as you will see some bosts with z added on this topic to make them show up. know for some reason the order has been chaned to accending but is has not fix the sort by which should be last post date and when that occurs the order should also be decending.

That not quite right the Site F & Q forum since it has been added has alway sorted by title thread but in accending order.
