Happy Spring! HOP's wonderful basset-loving friends have donated some really special gifts for the raffle. You will have trouble choosing which ones you want to win, so just buy tickets for them all! These raffles are the primary source of income for House of Puddles. Buy a bunch, buy a few, whatever you can do to help support this home for old hounds that nobody else wanted.
http://houseofpuddles.org/spring_raffle_2007.htm House of Puddles is a retirement home for homeless basset hounds. Since 2002, HOP has provided a home for over 20 senior or special needs hounds, accepted at the request or referral of basset hound rescue organizations. The seniors currently at HOP range in age from approximately 9 to 18 years. Their health issues include blindness, deafness, diabetes, cancer, incontinence, arthritis and severe skin allergies. HOP does not try to adopt dogs out to other homes because the dogs are generally considered to be unadoptable due to their age or special needs. Visit House of Puddles online: http://houseofpuddles.org/

Oh my- what a wonderful rescue. My husband, who is not a real emotional guy, actually had tears in his eyes as he read about the work Marilyn Brazzle is doing with these old unwanted hounds. We have made a donation to help with what she is doing- thanks for making us aware of this organization.

Marilyn is such a special person! I love looking at those beautiful seniors. I can understand getting tears in the eyes when looking at them. How can anyone give up these wonderful hounds?
And the raffle items are great! I hope she raises thousands of $$.
