I remember watching a documentary about this some time ago. Pretty amazing, and one guy even had a problem forum on the net where people could ask his advice about problems with their dogs.

I believe it's been reported that children who abuse animals are more likely to mature into aggressive adults. It would be great to think that this type of work in prisons not only saves dog's lives, but could help change people's thought patterns.
