Basset in Georgia...
I was very sad to read on petfinder (yes I am addicted to checking petfinder to make sure there are no bassets near me that need rescuing) that this basset girl in Georgia is going to be Euthanized after only a seven day holding period in the Chattooga County Animal Control.
 She also has four puppies. If anyone is anywhere near there and can be of assistance.... I just think she deserves more than seven days in Animal Control! I emailed the Georgia Basset Rescue regarding her as well. Thanks for reading this guys...It just broke my heart. |

How sick and sad that is!!!! I want to crawl in bed with Daisy and cry now. I hope someone can rescue her....I will pray for her and her pups!

AH HAH! So you are the one who beat me to Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia! I turned her in to them, too. Isn't she precious? Thanks for being so loving and caring.

Erin, keep an eye out for the Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia website. I think they renamed her "Shelby." They didn't have a pic listed today, but she should be on there soon. www.bhrg.org

I had checked the website a few times to see if I could find an update on her condition--thanks for the heads up on the re-name! I'm so glad she is being taken care
