That makes my day. I have owned 6 rescues, 2 of them Bassets. All unwanted all dishevelled, scared creatures. They have paid me back a million times more than I ever expected or wanted. Not a day goes by that I don't question humanity for abandoning these guys, but. I also thank the higher powers that be that there are angels who make it their life to save and rehome these guys!
