I was just wondering if anyone is from the wisconsin area and knows a good place to get a basset, I'd like to rescue or adopt one before buying one, but buying one is not out of the question. Thank you

I'm so glad you're considering rescuing. The easiest way to find a rescue dog is to search petfinder.com. The majority of shelters and rescues post their dog listings there. Bassets are a common breed so you will often find them in non-breed specific shelters and rescues. I'm sure you will be able to find one that suits your family.
