For anyone living in the DFW area, there is a basset hound shuffle coming up on September 18th with the North Texas Basset Rescue. Sounds like it will be great fun for Bassets.

September 18 is also puppy mill awareness day (not sure who designated it that). Might be a good day to think about those dogs suffering in those situations and how we can help. I know where there is a protest in Dallas that day at a store known for selling puppy mill dogs, and you can PM me if you would like more info.
