Hi! A few months ago you mentioned to me in a post about my new rescue that you foster for BHRG, and I was wondering if you know whether they require that foster homes have a fenced in yard. Chloe has settled in nicely...finally! ...and we were thinking about fostering so she would have a companion while we are at work. And we've fallen in-like with DixieBelle. Just thought you might have an answer. Thanks!
Hi! I have actually been on the GA BHR site many times over the last few years. I especially like Howie, but I'm afraid he wouldn't work out with my dad on the same property.
But anyway, I don't know what to do with Chloe. If I could just help her itching, I think I could handle all the other stuff. She is absolutely miserable, and nothing I do seems to help. The Benadryl helps a bit, but it wears off before I can give her another dose.
She is such a good dog otherwise that I really want to keep her, but I'm starting to think that I may not be the best owner for her. I'm not established enough with a vet in Upson County to be able to just call up on the weekend and get an answer.
What do you suggest that I do? I don't want to keep changing her food, because I know that her belly is already out of whack.
