I am sorry to bother you,.. I am new to this forum.. how do I start a topic? (post) I have a few questions and want to get feedback.. please advise thank you
Hi. How's the puppy doing? 6 months old now. Jenny is still doing great. Has your puppy lightened up in colour? Jenny did. We were prepared because Monty did too. Hope everything is good.
What about her knees? Was it an injury or hereditary? How is the housebreaking going? I just crack up when she tries to bark or howl.... She has not quite got the hang of it lol. I would love to keep in touch charlotte
I am fairly close to Hensall, actually. About 10-15 minutes away.
We already knew about Jenny's hernia, as it is obvious when you see her belly, and it was written on the back of her vet form.
I did. They are sisters. I met your puppy and had to choose between the two. They were both really sweet girls. I also have a one year old basset from the same dad, but his mom is now retired (Annie). I have had the new puppy for a week now.
Monty (my 1 year old) is a healthy boy. He gets dramatic when it comes to nail trimming time and was very difficult to house train.
Jenny (the new puppy) has an umbilical hernia. I think she was the only one to get that though, as the mom just chewed her umbilical cord too short. I did get the news that her back knees aren't up to snuff, though. She may require surgery when she is older. I wasn't expecting that news, but she is part of the family and here to stay. She is otherwise healthy and a sweet but spunky girl. She may end up bigger than Monty, too. She has the cutest bark, though. She normally only barks while playing with Monty and just for a few minutes at bed time.
The breeders are over all nice.
Are you from around Hensall?
