Ruby understands me!

You all know that Ruby and I "talk" with each other every day.....

I was just sitting here in the familyroom typing away and I smelled something icky.

I looked at Ruby and asked, "Ruby, did you fart?"

She got up, smelled her behind, looked at me and barked!!!!

thank goodness I'm not the only one who knows that bassets understand everything I say but very rarely do anything I say.

I could ask my first Hound if he wanted to take a bath and he would go and hide in the house.

My fiance' is a smoker and can ask the dogs "Who wants to smoke?" They will run to the table where he usually keeps his cigararettes and wait to go outside with him. They feel special being able to go out front, they nose around the front yard while he sits on the steps (I added that so that nobody would think that they were sitting beside him getting hooked on cigarettes. Lily will even start to whine at Bryan when he hasn't been out for a cigarette in a while. Lily always goes, but Gibbs only goes if he can't seem to find anything exciting inside the house to steal.

Baroo is a naughty poo eater and when she gets caught I will ask her if she ate a terd and she will lick her lips ewwwwww!
