I guess every basset owner has swept a fair share of hairs,
they tend to shed a lot - and almost all the time. Now my days of sweeping have ended! :P I've bought a robot! It's not only sweeping the floor, it will do the windows, the laundry, cook and even entertain at the dinner table! I think the seller said so, even though I'm still reading the manual to find out how to use all facilities. And the dogs love the robot: ![]() -------------------- The one that drools rules, :P Steinar - daddy and foodslave to Emma and Doris! http://www.basset-hound.net.tf |

Hummmmm!! It looks like a great exerciser as well for Emma and Doris, as they follow it around. You'll have to call it "Connie"!
I do sweeping the floor, windows, laundry, cook, and entertain at the dinner table. Of course, Bogie, helps, too!!

After consulting the manual for hours, I have to admit that this
Robomop just sweep the floors. And it will use one hour to do the same you would do with a vacuum cleaner in 5 mins... <_< It will deposit hairs every time it stops towards a carpet, and also sometimes when changing directions abrupt. Some of the dust and the hairs will fasten on the mop, but most is just pushed around on the floor. But, it's amusing, it's cheap and it's normally never stucked - I just hope Emma won't stump on it - that'll be the end of it And it's a Norwegian invention! :P -------------------- The one that drools rules, :P Steinar - daddy and foodslave to Emma and Doris! http://www.basset-hound.net.tf |

No Connie, it's called the Janice!
At least in this house. BTW, I wonder if that contraption is like a roombah here? My friend spent a fortune on a roombah and her two shedding dogs (not bassets) broke the thing in a week. From all the dog hair. :P Janice
