My Husband just put down new mulch. Here is Rusty testing it out!!

Great pic. Aren't they the funniest dogs? A couple weeks ago, I was working in the yard & my Mom was sitting out with Spencer. I hear her laughing & she tells me Spencer was in my flower bed, walking amongst the tulips. She said it made her think of the song "Tiptoe through the Tulips." I wasn't as amused, as several of my tulips were crushed. I told my Mom that there was no way 50+ pound Basset knew how to "tiptoe" through anything!

You gotta laugh at them, though.

Awwwwwwww!!!

a true Floridian basking in the sun. Bogie is green with envy. We still have snow on the ground.

Rusty has decided he likes to nap in the mulch!!! Today was so hot!! In the high 80's and humid!! The two of us didn't last too long on our afternoon walk. Stickes and Daddy do much better than we do

Rusty is adorable! FYI, the plant closest to his hiney is a Croton, they are pretty toxic. One of ours gnaws plants, so I'm hypersensitive to toxic greenery.

There's nothing cuter than a sleeping basset, especially when they are sprawled out in funny places. Rusty is so cute!

He looks so comfortable all laid out on that mulch, but that nice green grass looks like it would be even better. Our dogs like to dig it out and throw it all over the lawn and then lay down in the dirt.
