Ruby and I were howling with each other.

I thought you said Ruby wasn't a howler.

Was this a special occasion?

Oh she howls....when I ask her to sing. But mostly she "mooo's". She whines like crazy too.

She's not much of a barker tho.

Was it just luck that you managed to catch her howling? Moe howls so infrequently that I could NEVER manage to get a photo like that. It really is a great shot!

That's gotta be one of the most classic basset photos I've seen. That round little howling mouth..

I asked Ruby to sing and then I howled and she answered. I told you we talk to each other all the time. I rarely have her howl tho because she, believe it or not, ends up with a sore throat and coughs like crazy.

:P

LOL, that's a brilliant photo. Jasmine has never once howled. Now, give my Lab a squeaky toy, and she'll howl when she manages to squeak the right pitch out of it. Makes me smile every time.

"Ruby and I were howling with each other."

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's foolish enough to howl with my hound!

"I rarely have her howl tho because she, believe it or not, ends up with a sore throat and coughs like crazy."

Same thing with Minnie! Two minutes of howling and her voice is shot for hours. I only howl with her once in a while now.

"That round little howling mouth.."

Ain't it great?

Dudley is still not interested in howling, it makes him nervous.
