As you know, we're vegetarians. That's okay, but after a long winter with
hay, we sure look forward to go out and have the new and fresh grass for dinner. Daddy, do you really mean we can eat this delicious, green grass? Oh boy, oh boy! What a joy! What a pleasure! What could be better than grassing in a green field! -------------------- The one that drools rules, :P Steinar - daddy and foodslave to Emma and Doris! http://www.basset-hound.net.tf |

Those pictures look familiar. Francis is also a grassoholic and it can be a chore trying to keep him from the stuff now that spring is here. It's amazing how he always finds his way to a patch of tall grass, it must have a particular smell.
The absolute WORST part is when he's eaten so much grass that I have to help him "expell" it from the other end. I end up acting as an amateur veterinary proctologist!!!! Oh the fun!

Beethoven has just commanded me to tell you that he envies you girls! :P
Here, below Equator, we had one month with almost every day with max temperatures above 30 C (86 F ?). That summer was so unusually warm (or hot?) that Beethoven learned how to ask for a glass of cold water. Yes, its true, he really learned that.Anyway, it's fine to see you all again, not just our beloved girls, and say that we are still around. |

Emma and Doris eat grass a lot, but normally
not to do the urka-gurka...so I can relate to Bev's string of pearls... Thanks for the comments - btw -------------------- The one that drools rules, :P Steinar - daddy and foodslave to Emma and Doris! http://www.basset-hound.net.tf |
