Another brand recall, So who here makes their own dog food?

I don't feed any of the food from the first recall. When I checked Alpo's web site last week, it stated they were not effected by the recall at all, now Alpo is recalling Prime Cuts in Gravy. I do feed Alpo Chop House Originals, it doesn't contain wheat, but is made at the same recalled plant.
Now Hill's expanded to dry cat food. Could dry dog food be next??

Anyhow, do any of you make your own dog food?

I use Wellness Whitefish and Sweet Potato Kibbble BUT-

Biscuit and Jonloanranger both suggested supplementing this with a kind of stew when Murray was having anal gland problems.

I now add to his kibble: canned pumpkin and brown rice or bran for added fiber to help his anal glands, fish for a natural protein source, and yogurt to help his yeast problems. He also gets a big carrot to munch on every morning, and sometimes I add other stuff to the stew like greenbeans.

I feel pretty good about Wellness right now, and for us the half kibble half stew is working great.
