Finally, she`s here! Eleven weeks old today. She`s such a precious baby, and her hobbies are sleeping, eating, pooping, biting and being beautiful! We love her very much, even the old and suspicious cat seems to like her ( and he HATES dogs!)
If any of you have some great advice we don`t know about, we`d be happy to hear them! I have really read up on the basset breed, but there`s always some things that you can only learn by doing.

Ruby was 11 weeks old when we brought her home from the breeder and she was such a looooong cutie-patootie.
Enjoy your basset. Time really does fly. Janice and little Ruby

I've also experienced that my cat liked bassets better than
other breeds, especially those croaching, staring borders. Congratulations, it looks like a very pretty dog. I love the markings. And remember, they get less clumsy by time, though they seem to have sudden relapses every now and then. |

What a beautiful puppy! And it's a red and white. Good luck and don't forget to keep the ears clean and the nails cut! And go for lots of long sniffs/walks! Belinda.

What a beautiful little girl. When she is old enough I would suggest enrolling her in puppy classes. It's great socialization for her, and you both will learn so much. She will be a much better behaved Basset as a result, and it's nice to have expert opinions on behavior issues that will crop up. Enjoy your little one, they do grow up fast.
