Moose, the two-faced basset

Moose the two faced Basset

People look twice at my basset
once on the left, then the right
for he has a two-sided face
yes, he really is quite a sight

He loves to go for car rides
and hang out the window for air
but when we pull up to a halt
well, folks just stop and stare

For he dashes from window to window
appearing brown, and then suddenly white
leaving the people behind us to muse
"there must be two dogs, right?"

Some folks try to ignore him
But Moose will have none of that
for he'll let out a resounding WOOF
and have attention in no time flat!

Never seen this one before

Had a chuckle at both the poem and of course Moose. As if bassets aren't amusing enough, with their long ears , short legs and soleful looks , without having two different faces!!!!!. Always laugh when a pic of Moose comes up on the screen.

Moose is one of my favourites in here. I also like Emma, Ruby and Jackson among others.
