Well I should know better by now. Do not leave the tv remote within chewing distance. I am not sure which one did it Budford the one year old bloodhound or Cletus the 4 month old Basset. In any case which ever one did it not only did he chew up the remote he locked my tv in lock mode. I have a new remote on order but it will not be here for about 2 weeks. I was just wondering if there is any tv techs out there that could give me some advice on unlocking a tv in lock mode without a remote control. I guess boys will be boys

Yikes!
Such wonderful little dickins they are! I would try one or all of the following: Taking batteries out of remote. Unplugging the T.V. for at least a minute. If you have a cable box, try the same. Contact the company that makes the T.V. (they often have online help) and ask them. Good luck! Colleen |

I'm sorry - but
we had so many things chewed by Jackson before he left - all our fault for leaving them in reach. When it goes quiet... Panic! ![]() ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kerrio Jackson's Blog. |

This is a familiar problem at our house, too. Radio Shack sells a universal remote for around $10, which we bought for a DVD remote that was chewed. Don't know if they have one for the actual TV. Good luck!
