It's too cold out!

Dozer likes to sleep with his head hanging out the dog door, but he lets in the cold air. It doesn't matter what time of year he does it either. He will lay like this on hot days too.

PS. I know the floor is dirty, but the snow is starting to melt, and it doesn't do any good to clean the floor until the snow is gone or re-freezes.

"Nothing like a little fresh air to perk you up!" My mom used to tell me this on those cold days I didn't want to go outside. (I grew up in Memphis, TN) Nothing like the cold days of South Dakota where I now live. Looks like Dozer is getting perked up.
My daughter recently moved to Little Rock, AR. She told me they weren't going to install the doggie door, a tall one, for their Greyhound. Neighbors told them racoons had come in the doggie doors in the neighborhood.

That is so funny, I'm glad Shermie hasn't gotten that idea into his head. It's pretty cold here.

You won't believe this. I found the same picture of Dozer when he was 8 months old. They do get set in their ways.

We never had a doggy door either because our neighbor in MA had a skunk come in theirs.........
