We started putting Tootie in a crate at night about 2 months ago when she "forgot" that she was housebroken.
She's not a huge fan of it, but doesn't put up a huge fight. Last night, for the first time, she got tired and went right into her crate and laid down. I couldn't believe it! Usually we let her sleep w/ us on the weekend, but she was content in her crate. What a silly girl! She always surprises me.

Jackson sleeps in a crate, but then he will be travelling in it. It also keeps him safe from the other hounds, and from chewing things llike wires when we cannot supervise. Once they get used to them they are usually ok - but you get the odd one who HATES the CRATE
