Looks like the children in your neighborhood were in for a fun time when they came to your home. Wonderful costumes !! The hounds look adorable also.

Looks like a fun evening!
But Patti, your normally razorsharp pics seems slightly blurry now? Or do I need new glasses? -------------------- The one that drools rules, :P Steinar - daddy and foodslave to Emma and Doris! http://www.basset-hound.net.tf |

Steinar, I set the camera on the "night" setting. I'm guessing that's why they are blurry??? Too much light from our front outside light too maybe caused the blurriness??? What do you think??? After all, I learned my picture taking skills from you

Dozer & Digger were running around like crazy with all the kids stopping by. They would run out back, come back inside upto the window, and over to the door everytime they heard something outside. I took the screen out of the screen door so I could hand out candy, and so the hounds couldn't get out. They scared a few kids, because they would jump up into the screen opening, and let out an arrooo right in the kid's face.
The dogs were tired when the night was over. (they slept all night too) The kids started coming at 5:30, and the last kid stopped by at 8:30. I made up 100 sandwich bags of candy, so I could get a count on how many kids stopped by. At the end, the count was 104, plus a few older brother & sisters that came up to pet the dogs. I tried getting a video, but too many kids, and too dark.

Yes, Patti - that may be the reason.
The shutter is open quite a long periode, but the flash freeze the action. If it's a lot of different lighting and the camera is moved, it could probably produce ghostimages. But anyway, it looks right at Halloween! With a good camera, a steady hand and a goodlooking family, no wonder you get good pics! -------------------- The one that drools rules, :P Steinar - daddy and foodslave to Emma and Doris! http://www.basset-hound.net.tf |
