The worst thing is that Ms. Rubyoo can lay there all she wants. No matter what you are carrying, or what a pain in the butt it is....


People that own retrievers, or labs, or any other dog would say 'move it.' With a basset, resistance is futile. Best to just let them stay there.

Jackie does something very similar...if we are out on a walk and she gets tired, she will simply lay down right in front of me as I am walking. She doesn't look the least bit concerned when I almost trip over her and stumble for the next three steps. Bassets just have their special way... :P
