Bassets and Babies

We are so proud of Bogie. Our 10 week old grandson was here for four days with his Mom and Dad (our son) for the first time this past weekend. We had no idea how Bogie would react, since he had never been around a baby before. We knew he loved the small children in the neighborhood, and hoped all would be OK. After the first initial sniffing, our grandson was Bogie's baby. Everywhere the baby went so did Bogie. He was so good and would just lie on the floor beside him. When he cried, Bogie would come trotting to get immediate help. We could not have asked for a better Basset baby sitter.

Bogie, you are such a good baby sitter! And that second picture is priceless! I'm sure it'll be in the baby book for both basset and human baby.

Bogie's done laid claim to that baby. I love his coloring, too (Bogie's). Never seen a basset quite like that, what a cool pooch! (The baby ain't bad, either!
