Cool

Emma and Doris couldn't come with me to the annual seafood festival this year,
so I made our own in stead today. Of course I had other guests too, but the guests
of honour were E & D!

It was King Crab, crawfish, Scampi and prawns:

It wasn't easy for a little basset to wait for the dinner to be served:

Probably better to lay down and wait, seems to take forever!

Wow, that was good! Well worth the waiting!

Maybe the hot scampi was a bit spicy, I better air the tongue a bit...

Wow, that looks YUMMY. I don't suppose you'd be willing to FedEx a serving of scampi to the US of A, would you? I think the girls were consoled for missing the other feast, especially since this one was all in their honor, though Emma seems to have commandeered the camera time today. Did you do the cooking, Steinar?

Yes, for heavens sake!
Emma and Doris are terrible cooks,
much better eaters. Beside, it's
mostly thawing...

The scampi was raw, so that I fried
in hot oil with garlic, chili pepper and
a lot of hot spice.

George can't cook, either, though he excels at supervising when someone else is cooking. He's too short to reach the stove.

That table looks so marvelous, I'm drooling as much as the girls were. Yesterday my niece and I went down to the harbor (Boston Harbor) and I had a mixed seafood platter that was wood grilled and now I'm hungry again looking at that table.
