Today while I was playing with Padmé, it felt like she bit me but right after she spit a tooth out. It was her bottom right fang(don't know actual name). She is just over 4 months old and I know she might be teething right now so I don't know if I should be concerned or not. She doesn't seem to mind but it did bleed for a about 30 seconds. Is this the normal thing for a teething puppy?

It fine - and even more so that the bleeding stopped because some lines of Bassets suffer with bleeding disorders, and often it's only when they are teething (or clipping nails and catching the quick) that owners find out about this. We kept some of those our lot lost, but mostly you don't find them - swallowed or in the vac.
![]() Treat in bed eh - folk-law suggested you left a small amount under a child's pillow which could get kind of expensive

Our Basset lost all of his in one go more or less. I found the first one, then the rest of the week I kept finding little teeth on the carpet. I thought he was going to end up on soup!! The great thing was he lost interest in chewing on things so much after this happened. Although he still has a love of shoe innersoles given the chance! Had to replace quite a few of those to neighbours & friends who have visited!
