Well, we're being predicted to have anywhere between 12-20" of snow between now and tomorrow night! This is our first major snow storm with Arthur, so I'm curious to see how he'll react to it. I've already got plans to dig him out a couple of paths and a spot for bathroom use in the yard. Since he's a jumper, I wonder if he'll bound through any snow. Guess we'll see! I'll be showing pictures when we get the snow.

Can't wait to see the pictures. Personally, I think that any snow in February is a true punishment. My guys are ready for grass where they can race..got a lot of ice on top of the snow up here and they can't navigate very well....bored and under exercised..love to see the pups playing in their first snow though.

We don't get a lot of snow here, yay! Maddie loves a light layer of snow, up to an inch or so. She happily zooms around in it, but any deeper and she starts walking the perimeter of the house to avoid it, lol!

Post those pic soon!
Very rarely do we get "deep" snow in this part of SW VA. However, my dad always rigs up a "potty shelter" for his dog (mini doxie) By setting a piece of plywood between the grill and a patio table to give her a "spot" to go if they are calling for an inch.. My Jake loves the deep stuff... hops thru it like a bunny! Since I have gotten Ellie, we haven't had a "good snow". However, tomorrow they are calling for ice, sleet & freezing rain starting around 3 am this morning thru the afternoon. Honestly, I would prefer snow over ice!

We are finally dug out from the foot of snow we got! And here are the pictures of Arthur. I loved watching him play in the snow. He had a blast! My son went out to play twice yesterday and Arthur followed each time and stayed out the entire time (45 and 30 minutes). What a fun breed to watch plow through the snow!
