Thank God! Let’s hope the tide has turned and she stays seizure free! We’re pulling for you – keep up the good work Melody. Continued prayers for a full recovery.
Jen~

I don't know the 'previous' with this one, but just to say we had a hound who went off his back legs at around 8. He had spondylitis. At the time he was in pain and my vet really wanted to pts. I said he wasn't ready (and I wasn't either) and we put him onto PLT tablets (life-savers) to which he responded. As time went on, and believe he getting an 80+ male outside and back in in a sling to do his biz. was no joke, I made some enquiries about a K-9 cart which the BHC here had available on load (at one time - somebody borrowed it and didn't return it and it sank without trace
) We had it but this boy took one look at it and would have nothing to do with it. Some time after that, when I'd really started to come to the conclusion that this couldn't continue, I made the phonecall to my vet. He was in the room, looked at me when I came off the phone, sat up and licked himself, and GOT UP. Honestly. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He obviously decided that he'd played this as far as he could. He never moved as he had, his back was well roached, but get around he did. Occasionally we had to put him back on the plt. tablets but the lad lived until he was 14 before other things caught up with him and we had to say goodbye. The reason for all this is don't give up. I know vets don't always go along with giving them the chance, but it's always worth doing. Obviously this is all about her being off her legs, and not her fitting, which is something else
